Job Club and GED

A 4-week program for individuals who are preparing to enter or re-enter the workforce. Students are given assistance with resume preparation, job search techniques, networking skills, interviewing skills, corporate demeanor, budgeting, and time management. Job Club classes are held in the Lake City office Monday - Friday from 8:00 - 12:00 noon and in the Trenton office Monday - Friday from 1:00 - 5:00.

Are designed to prepare students to pass the GED test in the areas of Math, Reading, Language Arts and Writing, Social Studies and Science. The program is an open entry/open exit program for the general public. Students who are eligible for Cash Assistance or the Youth Workforce Investment Act (WIA) programs and are in compliance at the time of the test, may have their test paid for by Florida Crown. Classes are held in Lake City at the Adult Education Center Monday - Friday from 1:00 - 4:00 and in Old Town office on Friday from 8:00 - 11:30.
